EYEPOP-3D is delighted to announce that the Marx Brothers’ comedy classic Animal Crackers in 3D is available now on 3D Blu-ray, 3D DVD and digital download.
Featuring Groucho, Harpo, Chico and Zeppo at their most gloriously chaotic, Animal Crackers is a rapid-fire collision of high society, missing paintings, musical numbers, romantic misunderstandings and some of the sharpest comedy ever committed to film. Now, this much-loved Marx Brothers favourite can be experienced in a newly crafted 3D presentation, adding fresh depth and dimensionality to every raised eyebrow, flying prop and perfectly timed piece of mayhem.
The new EYEPOP-3D conversion has been carefully created aiming to preserve the spirit and visual character of the original film while giving viewers a new way to enjoy its elaborate mansion setting, busy ensemble scenes and wonderfully physical comedy. It is a chance to step further into the world of Captain Spaulding, Mrs Rittenhouse and the assorted guests unfortunate enough to find themselves caught up in the brothers’ madness.
The 3D Blu-ray edition presents the film in frame-packed digital 3D, designed for compatible modern 3D televisions, projectors and playback hardware. It also includes a red-and-blue anaglyph version, allowing even more viewers to enjoy the three dimensional presentation with traditional red and blue anaglyph 3D glasses.
For the first time we're also offering an official Plan-D 3D DVD edition which presents the film in red blue anaglyph 3D.
Meanwhile, the digital download edition offers optimal flexibility, with full side-by-side, half side-by-side and red-and-blue anaglyph versions ALL INCLUDED. A bonus anaglyph version with the feature length commentary track completes the set!
PLEASE NOTE: Red Blue Anaglyph Glasses are not included. These can be purchased inexpensively on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy or from many other online providers.

On top of the brand new 3D Blu-ray of Animal Crackers we're re-releasing The Marx Brothers 3D Blu-ray of The Cocoanuts with a funky new cover from Noah in the same style as Animal Crackers giving a more cohesive look and removing the previous generative ai cover image. This new edition also includes both films trailers and now for the first time is also available on an Anaglyph (Red/Blue) 3D DVD disc.
Please note the conversion has not changed, it is predominantly a cosmetic overhaul to the disc.
